The Green

Curtain

Donations &

Support

The Green Curtain Roadshow’s goal is to raise money in support of Montana’s Yaak Valley becoming the United States’ first climate refuge. Summer 2026 we will travel and map the “Green Curtain” of old-growth forests across the country, illuminating the rich biodiversity in need of protection. With the Black Ram guitar and a vanload of writers and artists, we will collaborate with local partners to leverage the transformative power of music, writing, and visual art to leave a lasting positive impact on our climate’s future.

Next winter, we will release a road album and multimedia anthology documenting the forests, our journey, and paths forward.

How you can help:

  1. Donate: Every dollar raised goes to fueling the project, producing our album & journal, and supporting the Yaak.
  2. Share: Share our campaign with your friends, family, and on social media.
  3. Volunteer: Help us record the album, raise money, or hold educational events. Inquire by email at eben.l.thomas@maine.edu.

Thank you for supporting our mission for a green future from stone coast to stone coast.

Thank you for your donation!

Green Curtain Roadshow accepts donations via its fiscal sponsor Maine Climate Action Now. Because MCAN is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, your donation may be tax-deductible under federal and/or state law. MCAN’s employer identification number is 88-2891721.

What does your donation support?

Your contribution helps us get emerging artists on the road and into the woods that dearly need our protection. Along with providing for travel and accommodation (allowing us to bring folks along at little to no cost to themselves) you will also support the creation of our album and publication.

At fundraising concerts along the way, we will raise funds for our partner organizations and tribal nations living in and working to protect the areas we are highlighting. All proceeds beyond meeting our initial travel costs will go directly to supporting these groups, the Yaak, and other at-risk areas.
